I was wondering if anyone has had success in creating two airbnb accounts to access first use booking credits.
I ask this because it seems that it is not a prerequisite to show any form of identification.

Explain to the host what happened, say you understand if don't feel comfortable. Maybe they'll see you're sincere?
They asked me to put my driver's licence against the computer webcam so they could take a photo and then they wanted a second form of id as well. This may have been the requirement of the host.

I recently used Airbnb without any welcome credit (ID was asked as well) and it was fine..
that would be really really really wrong to do such a thing. or using your partners ID to make a 2nd account.

I don't know about two accounts but I tried recently to make my first booking and they did ask for id. My credit card payment got declined because the credit card company thought it was fraud so airbnb shut down my account and I have been waiting for days trying to get it reinstated. I think I am going to lose the booking and of course now the host will think I am dodgy which I'm not. I thought about just opening a new account and trying again but I am too nervous to do this since they already think I am dodgy.
