Rumors of new models are old news. But we have not had an official announcement of a reveal event from Apple yet (which will probably be on the 20th). Believe me, the folks on MacRumors forums are going nuts from lack of confirmation.

According to the rumour mill… the new Macs will be crap.
It will have a gimmicky OLED panel for the F1-F12/Tool buttons.
They will nix the USB ports.
And the unit will have a smaller battery.These are MacBook PROs, not an Air or an iPad.
Apple shooting themselves in the foot this year with their products:
(MBP's getting diluted, iPad Pro's too limited, macOS buggy as, Apple TV too expensive, iPhone 7 no headphone jack).
Ugh, was looking forward to something tasty from Maccas then.
Does this mean existing models would be cheaper? Never really followed mac prices so don't have a clue.
Possibly, or for the same price you may be able to get a newer model. Retailers may be looking to clear stock of the older models.
