Up to 40% off a wide range of Maap Cycling Attire

130

For those of you who know Maap, you know it's not often that they have a sale so I was surprised to see that they are doing 40% off a range of their cycling attire. Unfortunately there's not a huge number of sizes left but if you can find your size it's a great bargain.

Deal example: CLOUDS RACE JERSEY - $195.00 AUD $117.00 AUD

Will my bum look big in that?

Received the email and got excited, still struggle to pay the premium for MAAP stuff though. Warning to any non serious cyclists out there, this stuff looks like 'Race' fit so probably not suitable for us weekend warrior types carrying extra ballast. I sometimes wonder how many super expensive 'exclusive' boutique cycling clothes brands the market can support. Some of the kit looks great and I am a fan of my Rapha bibs but there is only so many Black Sheep, MAAP, Jaggad, Pedla, Babici, Attaquer, Delord, Volero, La Passione, Bernard style companies that the market can support, similarly there are only so many sad folks like me that will occasionally shell out $200 for a short sleeve jersey etc.

like me that will occasionally shell out $200 for a short sleeve jersey

that's enough to bet you banned from OzBargain…

    • I think the market is expanding in all directions.
I just hope that if the top end does fall out, the small Aussie business survive.

  • I am a rider myself and always wonder why cycling gear has to look so horrible, and tacky.

Anyone know of any cool cycling gear? That is now covered in sponsors or branding?

Not sure exactly what you define as "cool" but try looking at Twin Six for cheaper non branded and non-daggy looking kit. Otherwise Attaquer for the much more expensive version.

      • I like the Twin Six kind of style. Thanks for that.

I guess you mean 'not covered'…..
The specific collections that cyclingtips markets is always pretty nice: https://shop.cyclingtips.com/

      • yes! Thank you.

      • Whatever you do don't buy the Gabba top from this site. Great top, one of my favourites but you can get it considerably cheaper from any of a number of UK websites
