  • You could visit some aboriginal communities to find out their experiences and share stories.

  • Jumping Crocodiles tour

  • Make your way to the free water parks and stay there all day. They are awesome

  • chase crocodiles in some local marshes?

  • +2

Best to hire a little car. Can hire in Mitchell street from one of the big guys or there is a few smaller ones at the start near H105 hotel that might be cheaper

Leyanyer water park - free entry - swimming, slides, play equipment for kids. Really good

Waterfront wave pool. Cheap and awesome.

Territory wildlife park - 40 mins drive from town - really good government run wildlife park. If you have kids it's good. Next door is Berry Springs Nature park - can swim there - quite nice

mindil beach markets - good performers for kids - it's worth going to. Thursdays and Sundays.

Hire some bicycles and go riding around town.

Free movies Sunday night at the waterfront grass. Really good.

    • went to mindil beach markets this afternoon. a guy doing a show pulled my youngest up as an assistant. she loved it. thanks for that

  • Yeah +1 for Mindil Beach markets, they're amazing. If you can get out of town in a car Litchfield isn't far away and I found it spectacular. Also if you've hired a car Kakadu might be an option.

  • When was it $80 return?
