Belkin USB 2.0 7 Port Hub $19.95 Shipped @ Warehouse1 on eBay

61

Seems like a good price for a name brand externally powered USB Hub. Cheapest on staticice is $24.95. Only USB 2.0, so probably best suited to all those peripherals that don't benefit from high data transfer rates.

Decent deal in its own right, but might also be helpful for those trying to make the $150/$300 limits for the eBay promo.

      Perfectly fine for peripherals that aren't storage.

    Or for an extra $10 you can pick up a USB3.0 powered hub from Umart.

    I've actually got this exact hub… pretty good tbh.

    USB2 is perfectly fine to connect up daisy-chain style a stack of external hard drives, which are then connected directly to your home server.
    I have lossless Bluray rips that play perfectly fine over USB2. Yes, transferring those files en-bulk takes longer (like when backing them up), but for $20 this is actually a pretty damn good and reliable powered USB hub.

    Others above stating USB3 available for $10 more are kidding themselves. I'd take this unit over those no name brands linked anytime.
    I wouldn't trust a cheap crap power supply for all my data. A poor quality powered USB hub can really play havoc with your external drives. DONT GO CHEAP!

    I bought this hub 2 years and it hasn't missed a beat. Nice post OP.

    This IS a deal.

      ok mate, good life story

    not even close to a deal.

    These normally are given free to the re-sellers as a throw in with laptops or surge boards.

    • What, so I should be able to get them for free too?

      • As a customer no, for the price, it is over priced for what it is.

        You seem to be very salty over this topic.

        • You're being unfair mate. I'm not going to explain why as if you don't already realise why there's probably no point explaining it.

        • @stonkered:

          Do you think this is a fantastic deal?

        • @Avacardooo Rayy Mee:

          Lol, do I have to answer that with a yes/no?

          The real question is, do I think it's a bad deal? No.

          Based in your comments I do t think your neg it justified.

        • If someone needs a powered USB hub for things that don't process large amounts of data, it's a decent deal. If not, where's something of comparable quality that is cheaper? It's not the deal of the century, but I don't think it's worthy of a neg. Who's the salty one?

          @Beejay:

          You're pretty salty over this topic, come back when you have a real deal.

          k thanks.

          @stonkered:

          You did not answer my question, based on your ability to read text , i think this forum is above your IQ level.

        • @Avacardooo Rayy Mee:

          I'm not even gonna neg your comment. I just don't care.

        • @stonkered:

          Thats nice, have a great day.

  • For an extra ~$4, you can get a 7 port Orico USB 3.0 Hub (powered)
