No Support from House Flooring Contractor for Issues

I`ve purchased a unit in sydney from the Property Developer.
Since the first week of inspection we raised issues with the Wooden Flooring not properly deployed in the Unit.
But its been 7 months and Property Developer earlier suggested to connect with the Wooden Flooring Contractor.

However, the contractor is not willing to help and ask for invoice.
Its obvious we wont have it, as the transaction was between the Property developer and the contractor.

Even the property developer is not helping us at all.

Please suggest if we have any options to get such contractors and Property Developer to resolve issues for Customers?

  • Did you choose the tradie? If no, then you need to deal with the party the did.

    • Tradie is via Property Developer

  • There should be warranty conditions under your purchase agreement with the Property Developer. That will guide you on what your responsibilities are and what the developer's are.

    • Well, the developer is not cooperative.
I have asked for the invoice for the flooring work, but no response.

Wondering if any law when no support from Property Developer?

  • +1

Got kids? Take em to their office with instructions to touch EVERYTHING then simply refuse to leave till they adress your issue. My mother got 5 scumbags to pay her this way, one even tried "he is away and no one can sign cheque, then after 30 mins he crawled out his office with the cheque.

Some people are scum that must be forced to do what is right.
