Its a strange phenomenon that only a psychologist could answer correctly. I suspect that if you don't already have the time to complete a course you wont in the future either regardless if its free

    Its a strange phenomenon

    Not really that strange.

Cost to enrol: $0, no time, no effort
Cost to complete: significant time and effort

If enrolment wasn't free you wouldn't have enrolled because you would've actually placed value on the enrolment.

I've done a lot of courses on there, but they're mainly ones I've paid for. The reason is simple enough, the free ones are generally "nice to have" topics that I have a passing interest in. The ones I actually pay for are generally more related to my areas of interest.

I have done a lot of the free courses on ethical hacking and pen testing. Most haven't been too bad.

    As an almost-qualified psychologist -

    (1) udemy courses are free,
    (2) ozbargain members love free stuff , ergo sum -
    (3) collect them all!

  • you mean we were supposed to do something after enrolling? I've just been adding all my new skills to my resume
