With the groupon credit and Cashrewards coupon I was able to secure a pre-order of Battlefield 1 for Xbox one, for $51 around the middle of September. This is also supposed to come with a $10 MS Store credit.
I am curious of what other peoples experiences with MS Store pre-orders have been like? They claim to deliver on the release day, yet my order STILL has not shipped and live chat just keep telling me to wait for a shipping email and don't really seem to know what is going on themselves (I think half the problem is they are not in Australia).
Just curious when I could expect to receive this order?? It is a bit disappointing to pre-order so far ahead and still not have it ship. Not to mention because MS use Toll I will have to wait at home all day for the delivery.
All this to save $20. Bit of a joke and poor service, really.
Did the same for MAFIA 3 and two copies of BF1, all $51. Mafia 3 didnt ship on time. Contacted support and also asked about $10 credit. They put my case through to a higher level. Got emailed a few days later with a code for $10 and was told the game was out of stock and they were getting more on (this was 7 days after mafias release). I then cancelled my order. Asked about the likelihood of this happening again with BF1. I was told they had plenty of stock. Turns out they have none again. Still waiting on my orders. Enquired again about the $10 per game and was given $50 total credit. I was then offered the digital copy for the same price of the physical copy.
isnt the point of preordering to secure a copy!? how did they not see they were going to sell out if they had more preorders than games?
