Just broke the adapter of my Apple MacBook Pro 13-INCH (MID 2012) :(.. I just want to ask if there is anyone suffer this before? and in this case if I should buy genuine one from Apple for about $128 or go with the cheap one?

that quote is quite not true though. first, my macbook pro was just above $1000 when I bought it in 2012, so pretty old. plus $128 for an unemployed like me is huge money.
However, I will consider buying the genuine one after reading that thread.

I broke the tip on my adapter and bought a replacement cable off ebay for $10 delivered from an aus seller.
the adapter is pretty easy to open and there are only 2 wires to unsolder from the old adapter and then solder on the 2 new cables.
it took less than 10 minutes to replace.
the cable I bought is no longer available but here is the next cheapest option for ~$15 delivered from an Aus seller
if you can wait then buy it from aliexpress for $5 delivered

I bought a cheap 27AUD adapter from ebay, and just doing very fine with it for the last one month.
