Ladies and gentlemen, it's been teasing us for over a decade but the moment has almost arrived to what could possibly the most hyped Final Fantasy game yet!
Found this beauty while looking for a hard cover guide to 100% the game when it comes out. Description says that it's the collector's edition with bonus content: Exclusive to the Collector's Edition: a premium lithograph, an extra 32-page section with many additional and exclusive features, and an extra-large map poster.
There is another hard cover version on the website at a slightly higher price, not sure what that's about but hey! A hard cover guide for FFXV at almost half the cost of getting the same one from ebgames? Sounds good to me. Free shipping too!

      It release in a month on the 29 Nov and the website says it takes 5-8 business days to arrive from the UK.

    Good price for the collectors edition. The other hardcover at the higher price looks to be the US version. Should be similar but might have different cover art.

    Thanks, got one. I like guides for games I enjoy, trouble is u want the book at the same time u start playing and if the game is a disappointment, it feels like a bit of a waste. I'm now glad I didn't get Mafia 3s guide. Good game but not worth investing in the guide IMO. Im counting on ff15 to be great. "Please live up to the hype, ff15".

    Not commenting on the deal itself but I'd like to hear why people buy guides for games. Most triple A RPGs have wikis built for them which are updated when new content comes out and I find it far easier to Google or search in the wiki to find what I'm after.

    Is it a nostalgia thing, a collector thing or what?

      A bit of both. I like collecting for large scale JRPGs. I saw they were selling them for games like uncharted 4 though and shook my head at that, I mean it is a linear game as opposed to a large open world RPG with hidden sidequests etc. Last time I ordered one for xenoblade chronicles x though and was left disappointed as the guide was very incomplete and had the bare minimum amount of information. That game was huge though.

      I see where you are coming from though I do often use the wikis too and they make it easy.

      Same. Both collectors and sometimes if u get stuck. I too go for my phone for YouTube even with a guide at times. With everything going digital, it is nice to still have a book for something like a video game..I also like game soundtrack vinyl and try to get my games when possible, on disc. Can't really re sell a digital copy at the moment either.

    Which version of the game are you guys planning to buy? Eb Games Kings Tale edition? JB Hi-Fi's edition or the Digital premium edition?
    It's getting difficult to choose with all the pre-order bonuses

      I personally bought the Day one edition with the Gourmand and blazefire sabre DLC with the exclusive T-shirt from ozgameshop for $75ish. Hoping to get the season pass later on too.

          Trust me on this, that's sorta of a blessing in disguise. Since the crown update which added a few more items and weapon stat changes, the guide is kinda outdated so you're better off waiting until Piggyback have a new edition or something.
