  • Is the 4gx bluetick? I cant seem to find a answer.

  • Optus 4G USB Modem (E3372) 4GB/14 Day $14.50 has no 3g 850mhz, the main 3g band for telstra right?

  • thanks OP

wondering if the telstra cruise has a decent battery life, and if I could use a boost sim card without having to unlock
thinking of buying it if it has a decent battery life

For me it lasts around 10 days(auto off at 10pm and auto on at 7am)
It cannot be used with Aldi sim(telstra network), I am not sure about boost.

      • I bought two and neither worked with Aldi. Shame because for $5 you can have a phone with a year's credit, good for the beach or walking. Total cost $14.

I set my mum up with a boost phone 2 weeks ago with her telstra sim, id think it should work the other way too. Just ask if you can return if it doesnt work.

It's a NINE dollar phone, why would you bother trying to return it when it's not advertised to work with their SIM card. Suck it up if it doesn't work and keep it as a spare or give it away.

If your buying a $9 phone I assume your not raking in 100k a year or your making bombs lol.

          @Slippery Fish: *You're.

        • @Slippery Fish: hey, maybe he needs to communicate with some women that he doesn't necessarily need to communicate with for a long time haha

  • anyone have any experience with the Huawei GR3? My mum is looking for a phone and this seems pretty suitable

I havent. But i might get one. Aperently its good battery life is good for medium use and fast enough. Camera is aperently good. I have the Catalog and well the specs say 8Mp camera and 8gb storage. You go online and in other stores it says 13MP camera and 16GB storage so i think the Catalog has the wrong specs for those 2 features as the price without the 80 discount costs the same as JBHIFI. so i suggest the Post office got the wrong specs.

Anyway aperently its good and good to get for normal daily use. Im thinking of getting one as my Galaxy S3 has lag and cant play Pokemon Go (its also not mine so i need to give it back, need a new phone before i do that though)

      • *Apparently.

  • hey, am i blind or is the j1 149 instead of 89?

edit* theres.. two listed? one's unlocked and the other isnt i think is the main difference.

Correct. JI unlocked is $149. JI locked to Optus is $89.

  • I would assume the $9 phone doesn't include any credit? I'm short 99c.

    • Work hard and save, chin up, you'll get that 99c eventually.

    • Actually comes with Telstra sim and $10 credit. Coles also had it for $9. Usually on sale for $15.

  • Does Telstra Cruise $9 phone include recharge credit?
