That GTA V isn't a bad little game. It's got a bit of driving, a bit of shooting, a bit if story; I like what it's trying to do.

It's incredible they can fit that all on to one of those little laser disc thingo's. Goes great on my Playstation Box.

    • +2

It's not but I wouldn't get it for last gen since they've stopped supporting it.

      That's Blacktown residents' daily lives

  • seems cheap for tomb raider? this is the new one yeh? hopefully ps4 is the same price

    • +1

yeah, great game! But dont do what i did and just power through the game, thinking i'd be able to come back to some parts and get 100%. Some items / places you cant get to after you pass it due to blockoffs :(

PS4 one has some more content I think which is probably why the xbox versions are cheaper despite it being out longer.

    • +2

This isn't the 20th anniversary version, which has a little more content

Released nearly a year ago but was an XBone (console) exclusive. Just been released on PS4 and MS has dropped the price to undercut it.

    • +1

This + the season pass works out to be about $70; that's all the content the PS4 release has. My favourite game of 2015, it's great.

    • The DLC is amazing for any TR fan, but I'd probably import a PS4 copy still

    • It was an XB1 timed exclusive and the PS4 version has just been released. JB have it for $79. I picked it up from our friends over at base.com for just over $51 incl shipping.

    • I'm just here for the replies to mitcheo's question.

    Couldn't beat the $5 GTA V PS3 I got still =)

    • Well you can, if you get it for $0-4.99, or if someone pays you to play it, or if you win a copy, or if $5 means to you what $100 does to me.

      • Well I posted the deal before, noone really appreciate. So I wouldn't care much neither about the same game and platform.

Yay, Star wars battlefront, but seriously, how are the servers?

Also is there a way to get season pass for cheap other than waiting for origin to go 50% off?

    • +2
      • No server no deal.

        • Yea starwars battlefront has like a couple hours max of gameplay without MP, and even that is mediocre.

        • @Gmetal:

So it comes with SP? Is it worth $19?

        • @superforever: Not a full singleplayer story, just a hand full of offline 'missions' where you beat waves of enemys, protect pods etc. They are kinda ok as co-op (i have it on console), but dont have a huge ammount of replay otherwise. Might be worth about 20$, the graphics and sounds are very pleasant, they did a good job with that, just not a huge ammount to do.

        • @Gmetal:
They've actual added bots to the main maps (eg protect/attack at-at) for single player and co-op. It's a massive improvement for the single player. But as mentioned above, no campaign.

      • Damn. Is there any good sites that will tell me about aussie servers for other games? I want to get Battlefeild1 for PC, but i had a bad experience with COD advanced warfare having no one to match with (and i dont use custom servers or anything), so if its similarly shit I'll get it for PS4.

        • +2

Battlefield 1 is packed online and great fun.

        • +2

Battlefield 1 is going VERY strong in the aussie dedicated servers for normal play. Never buy a call of duty for PC.

Will GTA V PC go on sale ever?

    • Don't think I ever seen it dip below $50 on PC. PC Master Race got screwed by Rockstar on this title. Release it way after console and then never discount it.

    • I bought it for 30 something dollars on release, use Cheapshark and sign up for a price drop

    • Its on steam sale at $44. Pretty sure that was the price.

      • It's more like $47, and even then, that's way over my budget :(

  • Have the Tomb Raider on PS4, it's a new release for the platform so new price, not like the Xbox which is a yr old.

Was somewhat surprised by the janky shimmer to the gfx after the super clean uncharted 4 just before. However, the PS4 pro is said to eliminate such issues incase so inclined; mine is on preorder!

    Dont buy battlefront

    • This comment is pretty much on point. It's already superceded by Battlefield 1, so I can't imagine it's still populated. Furthermore, strong rumours suggest Battlefront 2 is coming out next year…. That is, the second Battlefront 2, so Battlefront 2-2, or Battlefront 4, which I will be obnoxiously calling it when it inevitably hits us in the face next year.

  • Battlefront biggest disappointment ever. had waited 30+ years for this game, only to find no single player campaign. Was only able to play multiplayer for a couple of months on pc as the servers were empty. the effects and sounds were awesome i felt like a kid playing this game, but yeah good luck playing multiplayer on pc and finding a full server.
