Just got back from the local Big W, and to my surprise, a brand new Heavy Rain for PS3 scanned at $54.84. Incredible deal considering I had just come from EBGames where it was listed for $97 with only a "$10 off" sticker making it $87 (and that was for the pre-owned copy), and it is still listed on their website as $108. Their were only 2 copies left when I went, and the clerk who cashed me out ran off to grab the last one for himself. :P

    I can't seem to find anything about the platinum status (do you mean Greatest Hits?) for Heavy Rain, or it being less than $50 at "other places" either. Where exactly is it $49? And can you link your sources for the "platinum status" and/or the price drop?

        Are you sure you aren't getting mixed up with Uncharted 2? (DSE lists Heavy Rain at $99.94)

  you should also try this game out (buy from eb) as it happens to be very 'different'

  i only had 1 sitting so far, its like the sims but even more boring (so far) i've only played 45 minutes or so

    I only played it for about that long, and found it quote slow so didn't play it for about 2 months. I decided to put it in last night, and had to force myself to go to bed. The story is quite intriguing, and I'm not sure I'm even half way through yet!

  Awesome game: bought it a couple of weeks ago and beat the game in one sit, lol: played throught the whole afternoon and evening.
