The battery in mine is showing a reduction of charge a year after. I would save your money and put it toward a Phillips diamond clean

  There is pretty good chance that battery in every similar device will be showing reduction of charge after a year, regardless of brand and model.

    Phillips diamond clean uses Li-Ion rather than Ni-MH so no…not quite as horrific. After a year the charge time is approx half of what it was
