Just purchased 1 of these at Big W in Bunbury for my son's 2nd birthday tomorrow and it is listed online and in-store at $69. But at the checkout it scans up as reduced to $49.

This dump truck is a similar size and shape as the one in Toy World for $110 (except this one has some extra bits). It's mostly plastic with a metal tray. There are some photos under the reviews at the Big W link if you need to see how sizeable it is.

Not sure if other Big W stores have a similar deal.

  Ah, that explains it. The catalogue says metal but the picture makes it look crappy.

  Has anyone seen a real metal tonka truck still for sale?

  Edit: just had a look on Amazon and I'm pretty sure they don't exist anymore. The "steel" / "classic" models are just the same crappy plastic with a steel bed.

    Plastic hard hat (that is not for safety… just for looks), a couple of different shaped small plastic garden spades and a small plastic garden rake.

  For those in Brisbane, there's still a row of seven down in BigW Underwood today 7th Nov in case you are looking.

  This truck can fit my 3 y/o toddler in the back. The bonus plastic hat has a Tonka label in front and is quite big and will fit most young kids.
