I am going to watch Aladdin this weekend. Just was wondering what is the best parking for the Capitol Theatre? I know there are some deals now and then with secure and wilson parking. Also sometimes if you book online its cheaper than going to the parking station.
Agree, this is where I parked when I saw this show and every other show I have seen at Capitol. $10 flat rate can't be beaten.
If you don't mind walking a bit further Wilson prepay at St Andrews is wallabies (behind Town hall). From memory it's like $8.50 evening rate and something similar for whole day weekend.
Make sure you check the hours for this car park; I'm pretty sure they aren't 24hrs unlike Goulburn St Car Park.
Both Wilson and Secure have prepaid online which works out best value.
When you prebook a bay I always give myself plenty of extra time so if I think I will be finish by 10pm I book it until 11pm usually no difference in price anyway, but you will be hit for extra if you leave after their predetermined allowance….
I thought they have reasonable parking at the Capitol…IIRC we used to park there even if we weren't going to a show…hopefully that hasn't changed?
