Kathmandu Karinjo Baby Carrier as Carry on Overseas Flight

Hi Oz-Family,

I am travelling overseas with my family. I have a 2 years old kid (weighing around 13 kg). We have hiking trip overseas which will be around 21 Km.

Only possible baby carrier I found in Kathmandu Karinjo Baby Carrier.

I want to know if International airlines will allow me to carry this into Cabin.

Any other best & Cheaper options also would be of great help.

Thank you heaps in advance.

  • you'll have to ask each airline yourself

    they all have different rules

  • just wear it on to the plane with the kid in it.

    don't ask questions.

source - frequent flyer with overweight and oversized cabin luggage.

  • Why would you want to carry it in the cabin?

    • To avoid it being counted part of luggage.

      • Prams/strollers are not included as checked in baggage weight even if they are checked in . Not sure of baby carrier. Again it depends on airlines
