I don't have much knowledge on security cameras so any help would be appreciated!
I'm wanting to buy outdoor security cameras for my home. I need 4 cameras and am looking to spend around $300 - $400max.
If anybody could help point me in the right direction to find a product with the best value in terms of price and quality, it would be a great help!

$400 in total including an NVR. I have a spare monitor to use through hdmi or vga. I know I probably cant get anything too flash for $400 but any advice is appreciated!
With that budget, I think your limited with options.
I've seen Swann 4 x cameras with dvr (500 gb hdd) for under $400. But I've read reviews that quality may not be that great. I guess you get what you pay for.
I could recommend other cameras but you'd have to up your budget.
Also, are you planning to install yourself or get someone to install it? Therefore is $300-$400 Inc installation?
$400 per camera or total? Did you want some kind of NVR (recorder) or how did you want to monitor/record them? And would your recording device/software be included in your $400 budget?
