Anything advertised as "extra bass" is almost guaranteed to sound awful.
Tried a pair of these over the weekend, the bass boost is great with Techno music but awful on everything else, but it can be turned off so its no big deal and probably a decent feature to have the choice of using. Overall I was impressed with the sound quality especially for the price, would be unfair to compare to some of the other models at twice the price. I did not get to use them long enough so I have a hesitation in how comfortable they would be after hours of use, but for the 15 minutes I played with them they were excellent for the price.
Also for anyone interested the Blue and Red versions are also discounted, will probably grab a blue pair today since I doubt I will find much better around the $100-$150 dollar mark
Nope, it can't be turned off on this model. That's the more expensive XB950BT model.
damn really? I played with so many haha now I am back to square one, I give up may just buy a cheap pair from aliexpress or something until I can find a decent bluetooth option that isnt over $300
