  Be careful with some of the flight offerings, there are in cases a 13 hour layover in Hong Kong after a stop in Singapore. So factor this in when choosing 34 hours total trip time (Darwin - SFO)

    The quickest way to fly to San Francisco from Darwin is to fly to Sydney and then direct to SF (Qantas and then United). This is about 23 hrs each way. However, the cheapest I could find for this option is $1538 - so $894 looks pretty good even though it takes longer.

  Been to SFO many times great city and as said this is the long way to go in Y (economy), if via HKG then book a room for a kip at Regal Airport Hotel attached to the Int. airport.

    Very, very unlikely that you'll find last minute deals around Christmas to late Jan - that is peak travel time.

    Book something ASAP. It's gonna get expensive not cheaper.

    Look at Air NZ they are normally the cheapest.

  Has been a long time since I flew Singapore Airlines but have a great memory of the experience however I have flown mostly jetstar since mainly due to price.

  Great deal but I'm willing to pay extra for a shorter flight due to having a 1 year old. If you get any specials to LAX or SFO around 20 hours from Perth, please share. Thanks.
