My villa was built in the 70s and has aluminium framed windows that are in severe need of replacing. There are several windows which have the old-style standalone air-conditioner units mounted, and the sealing of the gaps around the units and the window glass is not very good.
All in all, they aren't falling apart or breaking (yet), but I suspect one of the reasons why the house gets freezing cold in winter and hot in summer is because the windows are leaking warm air out/letting hot air in through the gaps and deteriorated window seals.
I'm looking to replace all the windows (frames and glass) around the villa, as well as the sliding balcony door in the living room. From my limited knowledge on these things, I'm guessing it will likely cost a lot to replace 8 medium-sized windows and one fairly large balcony door.
Can anyone recommend a company that is based in Sydney and does good quality work + provide decent quality windows/doors? I'm not necessarily looking for the cheapest (although cost is a factor), and am willing to pay a bit more for someone who knows what they're doing, doesn't cut corners, sources good quality windows/doors, etc.

I don't have any recommendation but the last time I had a problem with my sliding glass door (townhouse), it was taken care off by strata. I believe you have to go through strata for those. You might want to just check.
