I want to get this XBox bundle for my nephew for his birthday on Thursday, and was wondering if there's a way to get discounts on EB gift cards?
He's a big fan of Halo hence this bundle in particular, and my local EBgames has this in stock so I can pick it up tomorrow.

Also I think it's bank account payment only with Blatchy's, so at least 1-2 day delay for that also. Too risky you'll get stuck with $100s of gift cards you can't use due to no stock or price rise as you say.
Not sure if Ambassador Card still offer them? If you are an AGL or NIB customer for example, if they accept credit card payment they should be near instant for egift card but there's still that risk.

If you know someone who can access Rewards Gateway; (Maccas Crew member etc); They are 10% off egiftcards for EB atm
I get 10% off through the Rewards Gateway through my employer. Just need an incentive for doing it for someone else ;)
It's a catch 22. You can get around a 9% discount right now, depending on source. But when/if you want a refund on the purchase, it'll be paid in gift cards, not cash.
Also, many times I've found an online order handy lately, just for proof of purchase for warranty purposes.
Can't get you access to the 9% discount at the mo (Blatchy's Blues - no free signup any more), though you could try signing up here. Problem is that I don't think you get signed up, and get the egift card, before stocks ran out or before the price went up
