HTC One M8

Hi there,

I'm looking to buy an HTC One M8 (either 16GB or 32GB) for less than $300.

I've heard good things about this phone. Since price is a consideration I'm going with a two year old model rather than a latest model.

I could find the following on eBay (for $272):

Is anyone able to find it for me for cheaper than this price? There are cheaper ones available on eBay, but I'm reluctant to purchase from eBay if the seller doesn't have a feedback of close to 99.5% (of course the feedback number matters as well).

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Why don't you go for a newer phone around the same price range - I got Xiaomi Mi5 for 318$ - You can say it is flagship phone - nice camera, fingerprint scanner, Snapdragon 820, 3GB RAM and most of all latest Android OS. Why go for a 2 year old model?

    I've just heard good things about the phone, it's boom speakers and voice quality while making and receiving phone calls. It's one of the highest rated android phones ever.

    Do you think it makes more sense to buy a cheaper latest phone compared to a flagship of yesteryears?

    How's the voice quality on Mi5? Also, are the aftermarket accessories easily available? e.g. glass screen protector, slim case etc.

      The M8 won't get any more software updates after Marshmallow.

    my in-laws have them (they wanted matching phones). I've played with both of their phones as they believe I can fix any tech issues with anything technical. they are good phones. fine phones. capable. very meh.

    but seriously get a far better china droid for the same money - Xiaomi, Lenovo

    Fair enough. Will look into Xiaomi and Lenovo. Any idea which stores are the best to purchase these from?

      I've had two M8s in a row now. The old one was retired to my girlfriend after hers broke. It's not "meh", it's one of the best looking android phones there is in my opinion. But the hardware specs are getting a little out of date.
