I've booked some return flights to Shanghai at the end of the year and I've requested a classic upgrade to business class. If I end up getting the upgrade for business class, would I be eligible to earn the equivalent points/status credits for this flight (i.e. earn 120 status credits in business vs. 40 status credits in economy)?
Nope. What you paid is what you'd get, only 40 in economy
