Advice on The Best Shipping Service for My Rowing Machine from TAS to ACT

Hi OzBargain Community,

I'm after advice on which shipping company to use to transport my rowing machine (28kg including packaging) from TAS to ACT. I've received quotes from DHL ($495), TNT ($348) and Toll ($370). I thought I'd search the forums here for previous experiences although many only discuss the options shipping goods from retail.

Any information or help to direct my research attention to would be greatly appreciated.

Extra Info (if needed) n package dimensions: 30 L x 60 W x 150 H

If I haven't provided enough information about my situation, please comment and I'll provide it.

Thanks!

can you seperate the machine in to 2 packages and try sendle?

    sendle.com.au

    • I hadn't thought of that, the rowing machine can certainly be divided into a 2 part assembly. I'll get quotes for those costs. Cheers!

Try http://www.e-go.com.au just make sure you get insurance haha.

    • Thanks, I'll check them out!

    • Not that insurance from e-go is worth anything, they renege all the time.

  • TNT has some of the worst reviews on productreviews, about 1 star, try www.packsend.com.au

DHL is propably the most expensive, but best service and accountability.

Could you sell it, and buy another second hand one closer to your new home?

    • My thoughts too!

  • Try Virgin Air Cargo. 13 82 87
