Howdy. I need to move a vehicle from Bankstown to Artarmon. Its in a safe place and there is no urgency to move it. It's also not in great shape so if a wheel lift tow truck is cheaper than a flat bed, then that's what I will go for.
I had thought of hiring a car trailer, but my towbar isn't rated more than 1200kg. I haven't discounted asking my neighbour to borrow his ute, but I'm uncertain how I would raise the question and not overly fond of the risk of something going wrong.
Anyone have any ideas of what price I'm looking at for a non urgent move? Any one you'd recommend I give a call and get a quote from?

In Vic RACV roadside assistance includes towing, you just have to wait 24 hrs after joining. Not sure if NRMA is the same?
