they would have exceeded 1000 by now

  • How do we claim the gift card?

Go to the Giftpax gift card and select what package you want. The company will send you the vouchers in the mail within a few business days. Their package deals are not very appealing to me tho.

      • Concur, GiftPax is a laughable offering. Redeem for vouchers, that you then have to redeem for products at specific locations. Long winded and lothsome.

Wouldn't waste my time for the effort involved.

  • Need to get the email to be eligible for the gift card according to T&C's.

    Hi Junaid

  • I picked up two packages the other day I doubt I will get this…

These vouchers are pretty ordinary, I get heaps of them from Student Edge surveys.

    • very ordinary, agreed

    • Yes I get many Giftpax giftcards from StudentEdge too. There's once though I attended a focus group via StudentEdge and got scored $100 Eftpos giftcard. Totally unbelievable and free food and drink provided in the focus group too!

      • Oh wow you managed to get to one of those "focus groups"? I've got invitation multiple times, filled out everything, got a note saying you'll get an email with the invitation, BAM. Then the email never arrived.

        • I filled in a survey to qualify for the focus group. The next day someone called me and asked if I'm still available to attend. She told me all the details (venue, time) on the phone & email. There're 10 people attending the 2-hour focus group in my time slot (there're 2 time slots to choose from) and apparently it was a research conducted by a marking research team for the government. All people couldn't believe it's that easy to score $100!

        • @citygal: Yea I done the survey multiple times, but never a phone call or email whatsoever. I wish I can do that, the $100 sounds so easy to get. Damn!

        • @Redwood:
I got it the first time I received such focus group survey. They probably look into your background (eg. age, field of study, what school you're studying….etc) . Anyway, try your luck next time! :)

        • @citygal: Just curious with these market research focus groups, do they mostly just ask yes/no questions to the whole group or do you have to give elaborate answers one by one?

        • @nubzy:
Focus group is not survey. Basically you need to meet the researcher in person and you gotta elaborate your answer. We were given worksheets and rate certain ideas and were asked why you rated this.

Yeah the range of things Giftpax have is pretty average, I got sucked in not reading too deep and got movie tickets and couple of ice creams and drink in a bundle.. turns out you had to find a coles express to claim the ice cream and drink and were completely seperate from the movies, yet packaged as this sweet bundle. ice creams wouldve been long melted in the 20km between coles express and cinema. never again.

I think a lot of vouchers must expire. Really annoying having to go to Coles express to claim them, would be better if Coles was included as well. I wouldn't recommend the magazine vouchers, because a lot of the stores are always out of stock/don't stock the magazine you want.

I redeem them for Nando's vouchers mostly. Good to keep a couple of drinks vouchers in the car though for the rare occasion I fill up at Coles Express.

      • Yes I redeem the Nando's one the most as well. It seems less effort to go to different places to redeem and relatively better value than the other deals.

  • I got the email and ordered something from eBay that I was going to get anyway. Hopefully it arrives quickly.

I wonder if I could just send a letter to my parcel locker address at the cost of a stamp ($1)?

    • Nope. "Letters and standard mail that can be delivered to your letterbox, including Express Post letters, will not be accepted."
