  • No Panasonic :(

  • 45 years in business and still no option to sort between full frame and crop lenses

  • I was going to post this deal.
Normally Ted's are a rip off but when combined with Fuji cashback it can lead to some good prices.
    E.g. Fujinon 27mm f2.8 for $166.95 after 100 cashback

  • Woohoo

Buy a Canon G9X with price match to DCW ($600 down to $538) for the wife, then buy EF-M 11-22mm at 11% off ($49.50) to get double cashback ($100) on the G9X. Total saving should be about $211 off - pretty decent. And with luck use a Teds Club $20 birthday voucher as well.

CameraPro sony 24-70 f4 $1289 Teds $1599. Still $200 dearer even after the discount.
All the other Sony mount are the same price or dearer even with the discount.

  • Was hoping for some decent prices for Sony but they're dearer post-discount than most stores.

Without cash back programs, 11% off is rarely a deal from over priced Ted's catalog.

  • Canon EF-S 60mm f2.8 macro at $533 ($599 minus 11%) is about the only deal i can see that's cheaper than other local stock sellers (next cheapest on staticice is tom saade at 549 and ryda at 558)

edit: and maybe the EF 200mm f/2.8L "magic drainpipe" at $890 isn't too bad either, close to matching Ryda pricing and $~8 cheaper if you're a club teds member from the free shipping

  • OMG just bought nikon lenses from digidirect even the item still in transit? Anyone know if they do price protection or paypal do?

  • Teds ebay had 20% off a few weeks ago.bought sigma 18-35 @ $800+shipping,then got $90.9 back from trs refund because the invoice they sent out was for original price of $1000

    • I have that lens for a D5500. How are you finding the focus of it? It's more miss than hit with me :/ I think I need to calibrate it using the Sigma UBS dock. However one guy said even after calibrating, it still didn't fix the focusing issues.

Used the lens on a 10 day trip, took just over 1000 photoes, yes,a lot of them are not focusing right,I'd say 1 to 2 out of 10.where do you get it caliberated?

Interesting vids, only realised thebfocusing issue when I viewed the photoes on the laptop after I came back from the trip,I thought it was my problem.mine is a D90.
