Hey all!
I'm looking at this laptop from MSY and I'm not sure if it will be right for me..
I basically need it for an all round laptop so hoping it won't be slow. No gaming but potentially building a simple website and editing photos. It's $400 and I can't seem to find any reviews for it!
It has:
Intel celeron N3050
4gb ram
500gb sata
15.6" screen

Picked up an Asus A540la i3, 500gb HDD, 4gb Ram for around $500 I believe from Centrecom. You can find much better deals.
It's got a Celeron branded N3050. Which is a low end, dual core processor that's clocked at 1.6ghz (most of the time).
For $479 dollars, MSY also sells the HP 250 with a 5th gen Core i3-5005U.
The model number is HP 250 (W5T32PT).
The i3 is around 2.25x faster than the N3050 in terms of compute performance.
Geekbench results:
Left number is Core i3 and the right number is Celeron.
Single core score
2595 vs 1009
Multi core score
4853 vs 1667
The HP 250 is a better value laptop, but it costs $79 dollars extra. Whether or not you want to pay the extra $$ for more than double the processor performance is up to you.
There is also another HP 250 with Celeron N3060 (W5T31PT) and this is selling for $345. It's definitely worth considering over the ASUS.
