UPDATED Domino's Deals

To make it a bit easier for users, I've exported all the dominos deals to google docs so we can all make easy changes. From user feedback it seemed users were "scared" of mucking up formatting if they added a code. Google docs is pretty easy to use (very similar to excel) and at this stage you don't need to sign in.

The link is here, so feel free to add http://tinyurl.com/ozb2010 to your favourites!

The page is looking a little worse for wear, i've added a few codes, but will take some time to get going. If you try a code, just add a "+1" to the worked/failed columns. If it works, please override the "last worked" column with todays date. That way we can keep track of expired deals.

If there is any abuse let me know.

NB: i understand it isnt great for people with really bad net. You can email yourself the spreadsheet, so that's better than nothing :/

    We're sorry.

We're sorry, an unknown error has occurred loading your spreadsheet.

Can the Google docs (doc) be embedded on the wiki page?

      OK, now it works.

Hey, wasn't there a dedicated site someone made that listed all of Domino's codes where you can, list etc…..
or maybe it was a dream.

    • yeah, retail me not.

No it wasn't retailmenot, it was this impressive site similar looking to retailmenot that only listed domino's coupons. Google provides me nothing so maybe I was dreaming of it. Quick someone make a site like that!

        • I think there was an OzB domino codes wiki..?

  • It would be cool if the google docs spreadsheet can output to RSS, then it can embedded in the wiki page. Other main issue that I can think of is vandalism… are there backups that you can restore from?

Edit: Okay I just realised, it can be done using the CSV version and Yahoo pipes. I might look into it unless someone beats me to it.

Double edit: I should admit that I actually wasted some time making something like this with a Zoho Creator database, just that I didn't bother to raise it yet. You can see the results here:

I guess best way to do it is by having a direct query of the database, but probably would be on the bottom of things to do for Scotty. Alternatively, perhaps a PHP scrape of Domino's deal page

      Coupon Code:
      <div class="ccode">97885</div>

      Expiry Code:
      <span class="nodeexpiry">25/06/2010 (1 day left)</span>

From that you could write that to a database sorting out the expired deals. Then perhaps export it into rss or whatever the wiki can take. I guess it would depend on the codes being in the right section among other things.

    • i can revert changes on the google docs. :)

  • The link doesn't currently work

keeps loading a page with this error

    We're sorry.

Can someone put back the codes on that page just as an archive or temp while the new link gets sorted. There was a code i kept using and now can't.

    • I get that message sometimes as well, clicking refresh loads the spreadsheet.

      • it's working now, but refreshing didn't work at that particular time.

while looking for links back to this discussion, i stumbled upon the 'Old Revisions' link down the right hand side and now realise that i could have looked up the codes in the previous revisions! doh!

  • I see the spreadsheet however looking for codes is hard: this one worked for me just now for large traditional pickup for $5.95:
