Can You Recommend a Vacuum Sealer/Food Saver That Has Lasted You a While? Post Deals on Here if You Know of Any as Well

Looking for what people are saying are the more long lasting vacuum sealers they have used.

The $300 Sunbeam VS800 has mixed reviews, and doesn't sound that great.
The Luvelo turbo or Luvelo supreme sound pretty good for something under $150.
Can you recommend any of the above?

As with many people i have just purchased the ANOVA and am looking at buying this primarily for this reason as well as bulk buying meat/fish for freezing.
There have been some smaller threads on this, but my hope is that this can be expanding thread, where people might put up deals/offers they see as well in regards to this.

Has the Luvelo ever gone on special that anyone knows of?

Thanks.

  • Hmm, Sunbeam is definitely not a good choice. It is famous for its short life span. And I had one Luvelo on ebay, which was on special at $72 from memory including shipping, normally about $80. I am no expert, but if you ask me I won't use Sunbeam, again.
And I am using a Makxon vacuum sealer from crazysales—just give you another product I used to compare. It comes with a heap of bags, plus 24m of extra bag rolls included which seems to add a fair bit of value, has some good options of vacuum pressure and seal time etc. You can have a look if you are interested:

edit: This one seems to have no bag or roll included now, but is still better than Sunbeam.

  • I purchased tbe one from kogan. 60 bucks or so and jt is working fine so far :)
