  This is good if you only drive straight line. Just imagine taking a good bend. I used one, got really frustrated. I tried putting it horizontally, still flies all over the dash when taking bends. So you would have to hold the phone before you take a turn.

I got a similar one off eBay. It wouldn't work if the case was on the phone. You're better with one of those big clips that suction on to the windscreen.

I use magnetic mounts. I have an iphone 6+ with a rugged cover and never fell off.
