Anyone else got one recently? If so any recommendations on what type I should get? Pretty sure I'd be fine with the non-XL, but looking for input.

Looks good but not sure if it's limited to a few target stores.

Do gaming devices go on sale for black friday? I know it's US but maybe that'd be an option.

Also - don't know much about 3DS homebrew but I used to have a flashcart for my old Nintendo DS, it was pretty cool.

I like the standard new size much more than the xl new. I have both, so it's a genuine choice. The xl looks blocky and pixellated…there are also colour issues with the TN/IPS top screen. The standard white new is my daily driver by choice

    Definitely. I just put $4 EB sale kirby plates on a white and am still smiling. I don't even like Kirby but it looks too good.

The regular 3DS/New 3DS is about the same size as the old DS Lite, the XL is quite a bit larger.

If you can find that deal in store, then jump at it. I don't think you'll find one.

The absolute cheapest way to get a "3DS" + Pokemon Sun/Moon is the 2DS bundle for $169 at EB Games or JB.

The 3DS (unlike the DS) is region locked, so don't get a US Black Friday deal if you don't want to have to import all your games too. Your best bet for the next sale is a eBay Target coupon or Boxing Day sales.
