Thanks to duyfken for the House MD deal. I went to check and found this amazing deal. camelcamelcamel shows this is the lowest price ever, only been offered once before.
A review stats that this is proper 16:9 format, not simply mask out of the original 4:3 version. However, it doesn't come with the DVD extended cuts.

May i know what is in the DVD extended cut? is it worth getting this without the extended cut?

The extended cuts include extra footage here and there through out the series (I'd say less than a minute each)
One instance off the top of my head would be when Ross and Rachel struggled to carry the couch up the stairs.
In the extended scene you see Rachel tripping the fire alarm and people then rushed down, stepping over and breaking the couch.
In the normal cut you only see the broken couch afterward as a result.
I would say it's still worth it without the extended scenes (as they are minimal anyway), plus I've yet to see a BD version with the extra scenes.

another extended scene is when Chandler bumped into this adopted kid and he said "You're a doctor?" (disclaiming that he said the kid was adopted)
that scene didn't made it to the broadcast cut and most DVD sets.
this is not the extended cut, my friend has this box set and the scene I mentioned above has been removed.

Foreign. The rates are usually better than the amazon conversions, though I'd make sure you're using a fee-free card like a BankWest Platinum.

Don't know sorry. Would depend if your card charges fee for overseas transactions in AUD. In general however avoid the Amazon conversion rates. They are poor.
