      • Hi, the refund came through. All good!

However as others have said below, it's pretty disappointing the games are unsealed, no accompanying pamphlet thing inside some games (not a big issue) and some scratched (I didn't have any scratched luckily).

I'm sure that when you buy a game online it should be new and sealed unless stated

Am I missing something here? At no stage did I see on either page of the 2 games I ordered that they would be delivered in this state.

I would not of ordered them if the were used.

Anyone wish to show me where they specifically state these games are A) Not new and B) What condition they should be in?

My games arrived today, also unsealed. I assumed they would be new and sealed games. Not happy.

I received GTA 5 today. Unsealed and the disc is scratched!

  • I emailed co-op about the state of their discs - this is the response I got. It doesn't explain why they discs are so badly damaged, not offer up a resolution - I guess for $20 I'll wear it but I will never buy from them again.

    Hello XXXX,

I am sorry that you are not happy with the product you purchased.
I can assure that these games are not used. All of our stock is sourced from our stores, not from a warehouse.
We are required to break the security seal and keep the disc in a separate case behind the counter, so that we can put the boxes on display for sale.

    Regards,
    Sylvia

  • Hi all. I'm sorry for any disappointment to the state of the product you received. I'm doing as much as I can to get to the bottom of this.
As mentioned in the email from our Customer Care team, we are required to open the boxes which explains why they're unsealed, but as for damaged disks I'm still investigating to find out exactly why this happened. Honestly, it's not how we operate and it's disappointing for us to see that this wasn't an isolated issue. My thoughts are that they're damaged due to being in a security case for up to two years at times, and over that period of time they got damaged through being near other disks - but I'll need to look deeper into this to confirm.

I did respond to complaints of this earlier, but at the request of a commenter my response was unpublished so apologies to anyone who didn't see that.

    Thanks everyone,
    The Co-op - Digital Team.
