This morning around 6am I placed an order for a $200 e-gift card, I checked my account for the process as it still says processing. Does anyone know how long egift cards normally take as it does take up to 24hours as stated on their website.
As for Coles it takes up to 4hours, funny woolies takes this long.

Ok just got my PDF invoice, game them a call earlier but still no egift card! Was expecting it to be attached together with my receipt

It's ok just received it!!! Can egift cards be used to load credit on prepaid Visa cards? Since Coles can do this.
Not that I know of. How can you do it at Coles? I tried buying their prepaid Mastercard with a coles gift card only to have it denied.
I asked the cashier in Woolies and he confirmed that I can do that. But I personally haven't tried it before.
I highly doubt it. Else, if that happens, then Woollies is effectively paying you 5.26% extra on FREE money (and not store credits), which you get just by routing your money through them.
Well you can try. I always use Woolies gift card to buy Itunes gift card and works like a champ. Not sure about prepaid Mastercard card.
Plus buying prepaid Mastercard card costs you $5-5.95 admin fee to activate the card, which makes it hardly profitable to earn "free money".
@citygal: iTunes gift card isn't cash though. Master or Visa is almost as good as cash (free money which can be used anywhere).
Admin fee is just one time cost. You can use the cards forever by topping them up. No? I am not sure about this part.

Yes Itunes cards are not like cash, but kinda the same logic (gift card buys gift card). I asked the staff before and he said that it should be fine. But again I haven't tried it.
Gift cards you can purchase in store are usually non-reloadable.
Won't work. To load onto a prepaid MasterCard, you need cash or EFT (savings). Credit cards and gift cards don't allow cash out so the pinpad will reject it.
It'll only work on fixed-value black hawk cards (so fixed value EFTPOS, iTunes, Steam, etc.)

@citygal: Woolworths don't sell a fixed value visa/Mastercard, only EFTPOS $100. Plus as mentioned above they have a $5.95 activation fee.
I have used the colesmyer gift card to purchase the set amounts prepaid Visa cards that come in $20,$50,$100 and $200, they just need to be bought as for eg $205.95, I also do it at Officeworks all the time, it's the green and black card, but does hav diff images depending on card amount.

I must be the odd one out both times i have ordered $500 wish egiftcards through cashrewards took just under 48hrs for me to finally receive them don't know why.
I have tried 2 of my Amex cards and one visa gift card to purchase a wish eGift card (with discount via CR) but they are all rejected. The error is basically a text with red background that says check your credit card details including expiry date, etc. But I'm sure all the details are correct.
Can any one think of what the reason might be? My Amex cards are fine (in other stores).
I usually get mine within 3-4 hours as do others
