This is a global version of Overwatch: Origins Edition, so you can play in any region

You need to create an account with Argentina set as the country, you can than purchase it from the webstore or from the battle.net laucher

Unfortunately you can not gift the game from this region onto another account e.g. if you played the free weekend

GIFTABLE VERSION -

If you register with a mexico account instead, you will then able to purchase a giftable version for ~ $39.20 AUD which can then be used on an existing account

NOTE
If you have any difficulty paying by card, add the card to your account first

      When you launch battle.net it asks you to a server region, Australia is lumped in with Americas & Southeast Asia
      But yes you can, there are no restrictions

    Just had a quick google, and it looks like you might be able to link it to your existing account using an argetina vpn. Ill try it out when i get home from work.

    Looks like you must contact support to change your residence :( is there a way to merge an account, seems too much of a hassle for $20 :P

      You can not, it is not possible gift from the Argentina store due to the price difference

          Sorry Guys, looks like they may have removed it. I had to log in and go to battle.net shop in browser. I had the choice to gift or buy but now it's gone. If you go to buy starcraft you'll see what I mean as you can still gift that game.

    Using a VPN the best I found was $40aud on the Mexico store…and it appears you can gift / link to existing account

        Added to OP, you don't need a VPN to access the mexico store with a mexico account

    Well…I am not sure if I want to buy this.

    I am already playing HOTS and heartstone….not sure if I really want to be occupying myself with Overwatch.

    Blizzard is really trying to take all my sleeps away now…

    can anyone recommend a VPN that connects to the Argentina store? i use cyberghost but Argentina isnt on the server list

      You don't need a VPN, you just need an account signed up with that country
      You can only buy from the country store the account is linked to, E.g. an Australia account will only show you the Australian store regardless of where you appear to be located, same with an Argentinan account

          Didn't try, but I've had my bank block and lock my account without notifying me whilst using a VPN to purchase a game. They believe that someone overseas is using your card lol.
