Recommendation for good bass in-ear headphones?

I'm looking for a pair of earphones with really good bass. I listen to hip-hop, trap, dance and electronic style music and I love my bass.

Googling has some suggestions, but not all are sold in Australia.

Anyone have any suggestions for me? Would prefer to spend less than $200.

  • I would get the Bose Truesound Ultra

$161 after discount voucher is applied

This is the Apple variant. There is also an Android compatible one for same price.
The bass is very rich, the treble can be described as okay-ish, but the most important thing for me was the fitting and the Bose stayhear tips sit very comfortably and they don't fall out, nor do they go into your ear too deeply.

As such I've put away all my Xiaomi earbuds since they all stab my ear when I try to listen to music while lying down. The Bose however, is not sound isolating like my Xiaomi's and they don't block out noise (this can be either good or bad).

Another pick is the 1More Triple Driver, made by 1MORE who are actually part of Xiaomi and is a sister company. They are very new IEM's currently going for $100 US dollars, which you can import via eBay. The treble is reportedly very smooth and sound is balanced. You will get about 9 eartips to suit your ear size!

  • I remember the Klipsch S4 range being quite nice should be able to find at around $50 or so.

  • Read the reviews for these on The verge. Very well regarded for it's price. However they are not sold by sony in Australia. I think amazon is shipping them to Aus.

I got these while I was in Hong Kong (~$60). A year on, still holding up very well and the bass is very good!

  • A few years ago, I would have said Yamaha EPH 100 but now it's a little bit difficult to find those earphones (RRP ~AU$150 in Europe and AU$200 in the US)…the bass is deep and punchy. Be careful, the eartips enter deep inside your ears.

I don't think it will last more than 1 year but the rock zircon (chinese) are really good near AU$10 with a new account on gearbest: the bass/sub bass are enchanting and the soundstage is quite large (even if it's exaggerated) so perfect for electro, house.

    • soundstage is quite large (even if it's exaggerated)

So it's quite large only it's not because it's exaggerating.

      OK then.

      • Yep the sound is fun and entertaining but it's clearly not as durable as a xiaomi hybrid or a pair of earphones with a warranty.
I have a neutral headphone (AKG Q701) so for EDM and house music I use the rock zircon.
