Got a new Mi4C and having trouble flashing ROM. Anybody know of place around Kingsford (Syd) that can flash ROMs?

Check youtube , flashing new rom on Mi is like kids play . No offense meant mate ;)
Can't get windows to recognise device in fastboot. Tried multiple drivers, etc. Running out of time before heading overseas so happy to pay someone to assist.
I had the same trouble with a Redmi Note 2. My current Windows 7 PC couldn't recognise the phone. I had an old Notebook lying around with Vista on it and tried that. Phone was recognised and able to be flashed using fastboot.
I just installed TWRP and CM13 on my Mi4c. Worked a treat. http://www.teamsuperluminal.org/mi4c-cyanogenmod-13/
Yeah that's the ROM I'm trying to install but can't get custom recovery on.
Have you enabled USB Debugging in the developer settings? You should then plug the USB cable while the phone is on and it should prompt you for permission for USB debugging, allow it. Then you just enter the command in the command prompt to boot the device to fastboot mode and enter the command to install the custom recovery.
If you've done all this and it still doesn't recognise the phone, then it sounds like you might have a locked bootloader. What version of MIUI are you on?
Thanks for the advice. Went back to basics and yes phone was locked. Feeling stupid now…
