[Android] PowerAmp Full Version Unlocker $0.99 @ Google Play

1151

163,078 5 star reviews. My personal favorite.

The #1 paid music player in the Google Play Store 4 years running—Poweramp is the most powerful music player available on the Android OS. Features like gapless play, an unmatched equalization system, great crossfade, and support for most popular music file format might all make Poweramp the best $3.99 you have ever spent in your life—2+ million users would agree to that.

  • Which is your favorite skins, OP?

Bought this yonks ago for a dollar, has been my main squeeze since Samsung overhauled the stock music player (The same time that I learned the stock music player was sctually Samsung and not Android)
    Anyway, worth!
Really nice feature is 'ignore focus' or something similar.. prevents arrogant/inconsiderate developers (cough Niantic) from disabling music while their app is on top : )

You really shouldn't do that with your phone, this is a family website!

      • Do what? yonk?

        • I will not apologise for yonking!

        • Only something buttstuff will say…

Things are getting tight. Down to $1.17 Google rewards credit

    • Then solid explorer goes to $1.39 :-p You'd better go somewhere googly-interesting this week…

    • Have you also been getting significantly fewer surveys in the past few months?

      • Yes. Have been doing loads of these Google reviews for places….not one survery reward for weeks now

Freaking hell I paid $3.99 for it five days ago. Aaaarrrrgggghhhhh…

    p.s . this app is awesome 10/10.

    • you can refund that purchase and buy again…

  • Paid customers can try their v3 alpha version, which has HiRes audio support. v2 is already one of the best sounding music player but v3 is in a different league.

    • At your own risk. HTC 10 here, the Hi-Res output tends to crash and with the 7.0 update that just came out today, I suspect it will stop functioning afterwards.

Also, while the GUI changes are pretty straightforawrd to see, the Hi-Res audio and DVC settings are buried a bit deeper, try it if you know what you're doing.

Should say though, this player has the best equaliser I've run into yet, love playing with it. Paid full price a couple years back, no regrets since.

High resolution audio is a con, the human ear is incapable of distinguishing anything greater than 16bit.

      • That may be true - some people can hear the difference but most can't. However the sound quality improvement is not really because of hires audio. It's improved significantly in v3 even when hires audio is turned off.

      • At least not with the source from a phone…

I prefer Black Player, and it's free. If you want skins etc the full version is just $1.

Just wondering, can it play music from a network share yet? I bought it a few years ago but it couldn't.

Since then, I've always used the player built into es file explorer, as it is pretty simple to access music files that are on my phone or my desktop that way.

  • Used to use Poweramp all the time but ever since changing phone plans, it's become redundant with stream music on spotify/google music. Just wondering if there is an integration with them yet.

  • Poweramp is a great app, but waiting for MX Player pro to go on sale—seems like never go on sale.

    • Mmm what does the Pro give you besides no ads? I use MX Player as my main video player and would happily shell out a few bucks for a premium version.

      • IIIRC Just removes ads

      • Root phone, download adaway, update ads list. No more ads anywhere

Just bought it. thanks mate. Nice app.

  • It opens lighting fast on my ancient phone….. Game changer point

  • can it play stuff from the network? smb/dlna/etc …. as i dont see a features list on play store.

    • If there is a simple way to test this I would be happy to do it. I don't want to have to think too hard about it though.
After some difficulty, instead of Streaming I personally just use MediaMonkey's Auto-Sync and just regularly plug phone into PC as main charger.

    • Not currently but it's planned for the next release.

Maybe they've fixed it but I had atrocious support from these people and can't NOT recommend this enough.
PlayerPro has a crappy name, vastly more superior. Get it, avoid this seriously.

  • Is there a good Audio player that doesn't need to read your phone ID and status?
