Travel to Canada with Velocity Points

Hi guys,

I am planning a trip to Canada around feb next year and was wondering what the best use of my points would be. I have a bit over 300k velocity points.

At the moment, I'm thinking of transferring about 260k points over to krisflyer and booking a business class flight on air canada from sydney to vancouver. Air Canada seems to be the online airline that does this route non-stop.

Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

    If you are looking for non stop thats probably the best option

    In the end I flew ADL - HK - NY to visit Ottawa
    the Van - HK - ADL

    For this Cathay Pacific were the best and had full lie down pods

    think it might be difficult to get ff seats on a nonstop, but much easier via LAX.
