Can I Use a Bluetooth Headset for Gaming?

Hi,

I want to buy a headset to use teamspeak whilst I game on my PC.

My PC is in a bit of an awkward position so switching the 3.5mm from my speakers to a headset is a bit annoying.

Is there any reason why I couldn't buy something like the Bluedio T3 and a bluetooth usb adapter for my PC?

I assume each time I want to use it I would just need to change the default speaker and microphone in windows.

Thanks!

  • There is no reason why you can't use a bluetooth headset for using teamspeak whilst you game on your PC.

  • If you are playing something that requires perfect sync between sound and video, latency might be an issue. I've heard that's why rhythm game players don't use Bluetooth earphones.

    Not sure about microphone though.

  • The Bluedio T3 is very heavy… I purchased one myself and used it with a Bluetooth adapter. Too heavy and it was just better using my wired not so heavy headset $5 Dicksmith headset.
