Pre-build PC suggestions?

As someone who doesn't have the time to learn how to build a PC (I've taken a look at some stuff at /r/buildapc and pcpartpicker, is there any suggestions anyone can make for a prebuilt PC that will run low end games well as well as speed through every day, non heavy multicore activities, such as Word or 6/7 tabs in Chrome?

I took at look at this http://pcpartpicker.com/guide/vpMnTW/entry-level-gaming-buil…, and would very happily build that PC with a tutorial as easy as that, however with all the comments suggesting the RX470 over the 1050Ti, and starting to suggest other motherboards than what was in the video, I'm not sure I have the time to be able to work it out for myself.

you don't have to build a PC, since shops like MSY and UMARt do actually put custom builds together. For a price, of course.

All you need is just a list of things you want and the money to pay for the build :)

the correct link to the AU website is http://au.pcpartpicker.com/guide/vpMnTW/entry-level-gaming-b…

otherwise the pricing will be in US dollars

And yes, there is a comment talking about how the GTX 1050Ti is bad value, and it really is, even when talking about Australian pricing, the GTX 1050Ti is $240 dollars Aussie but the much, much faster Radeon Rx470 is $285 dollars.

If we use a bit of math we find that 17 percent price increase gives roughly 50% performance improvement. It makes more sense to go with the Radeon option.

Also the case on that build is a bit expensive. If you choose the Deepcool Tesseract case, you can save about $60 dollars on the build. It's a cheap case with a few flaws but it's not bad at all.

    • Really? Awesome, thanks for that tip about MSY, that helps a lot

EDIT: A quick question, would they be okay if I bought a SSD say from a deal here and brought it in to be part of the build?

You'll have to ask their salespeople / system builders.

        • Thanks for that help, just one last question, will that motherboard in the build (MSI B150M PRO-VDH Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard) be compatible with the Radeon RX470?

        • Yes.

        • they don't like it to do it or they will excuse their warranty

if the SSD does not work
who do you then blame and how will it get replaced? the installer or who you purchased it off

as you aren't well versed enough to build yourself
          if you encounter someone dodgy

whats to stop them saying its the SSD that caused x-y-z component not to work
          you need a "better/different" part

issues either side of the coin so they rather avoid it
plus its in their interest if you buy from them

  • That website is the US version so those prices are not correct for us in Australia.

You also may want to state a bundet so people can suggest something.

    • Thanks, looking for something about $700 AUD.
