Most likely Skylanders Imaginators has not been selling well, even with the discount. Buy the game, buy the characters, place them in a drum, the whole formula is getting old and kids simply lose the interest. They simply cannot repeat the excitement when this kind of games first appear. You just need to look at how Disney 2.0, 3.0 failed, and Lego dimension is surviving only because of the die-hard Lego fans.
