For those wondering how GoCatch compares to Uber:

although you can book taxis using GoCatch you can also book "rideshare" AKA Uber. Vehicle requirements are stricter in GoCatch than Uber so you will receive better cars on average. GoCatch requirements:

Be a medium-large size hatchback, sedan or larger (Uber allows small cars like Nissan Micra, Suzuki Swift, etc.)
2009 or newer (Uber allows 2007 or newer)
Max 150k kms on the odometer (Uber no restrictions)

I have tested it and it works for both new and existing customers. If you are a new customer it can also be stacked with the $15 referral bonus for $20 total, use my code CSMTC when you sign up (or a random code below). As per comments in previous deals you will need to do the referral code first before adding the FESTIVE5 code.

  my experience with their app has been poor. Generally no rideshares available. Had to take a cab to utilize my voucher but at the end of trip, the app wouldnt process my payment. Had to pay cab directly.

    My experience with GoCatch has also been very poor.

    I ordered a RideShare recently. App crashed. Could not restart the app. Had to order an Uber instead.

    The next morning I wake up to find that my RideShare order was processed, some dodgy driver "picked me up" and went on a merry ride around the city, racking up a huge bill that was charged to me. Now I am going through the annoying process of trying to get a refund. Yet to hear back from GoCatch. If they don't reply soon, I'll be doing a charge back on my credit card.

  We took our first go catch ride and the payment didn't work. We used two credit cards and they both failed and we couldn't use the $15 promotion. Can you please refund me?
