Perfect, Melbourne is still in winter

    • I have been waiting to break out the shorts but its still dam cold :(

    • move up to sydney.

  • Awesome deal, just ordered one! This will be perfect for travelling as it compacts nicely.

Aaaaand I forget to use Cashrewards. Damnit, happens to me every time!

  • Mens M & L not available in the most popular colours. Typical Uniqlo!

    • +3

Buy smaller then go in store to see if they have larger sizes to swap to.

      • +2

Not all states have a uniqlo. Sucks for those of us in WA.

  • -1

Can you put the coupon code in the right area and also put in the description "delivered"?

  • +6

    It's a vest, no sleeves.

  • Is the sizing in Australia online the same as Japan in-store?

    • +5

      typically australian is bigger
when i buy in asia i buy in M but in oz i buy S

      • thank you

      • Even Uniqlo??

        • +1

Yes, can confirm. My Small Unqilo heattech shirt from AU is marked as the same chest size (88-96 I think) as my M from JP

  • +2

Won't buy one but for real down, with decent quality materials this is an amazing price.

Just FYI, these type of puffies aren't really intended for active wear, they do not breath well even though the baffles are sewn-thru.

But for walking about town, or a backup layer this is ridiculous value.

  • How are the quality and sizing of this seller? I can see they have some other affordable items, but not sure how true to fit their sizes are. Can someone with experience comment on this, please?

    • +2

Quality is decent/good and sizing matches up with the sizing I'm familiar with from ASOS. I'm almost always a size S for tops/shirts and this is true for Uniqlo as well.

I mostly buy only underwear/loungewear at Uniqlo. Lately I've been obsessed with the Airism range — I love their Airism Mesh gear, specifically the crew neck shirts and the underwear trunks. Fantastic stuff for summer.

      • Ta. Appreciate the info, 44.

  • MISSYOU doesn't work for me

edit: Actually it works. Seems like I have to check the box "I accept the Terms and Conditions" before applying the coupon code.

  • :) got 1, thanks op

  • +8

Now i can dress like Marty McFly!

  • +5

If buying 2+ can use the coupon:
    NEWYOKOSO
    works out a little cheaper

  • +4

or buy 2 for $52.70 (and a pair of those socks on sale) using NEWYOKOSO code! :)

    • Thanks for the heads-up! I couldn't work out how to sort sale items by price so knowing to looked for socks helped heaps!

  • ^ That NEWYOKOSO isn't working for some reason even when buying two items, not sure if you're supposed to have an account. I am trying to pay with PayPal with no Uniqlo account. But the MISSYOU one works fine with free delivery.

      $50 min spend?

      • Aha! I see why now. It was $49.80 ($29.90+$19.90). Ta

    • I think the code can only be used once per account. You can try checkout as guest. The code worked for me before I signed in.

      • It was to do with the amount, it seems. Someone has said above that you have to have $50 minimum in cart for the discount code to work.

        • Okay I see. Didn't know that before. I had two jackets in the cart,so it worked for me.

      • +1

Seems to only work once per account. If you pay via Paypal, you don't log into the account and it works there

    Looks very fobby.

  • Mostly xsmall and small for the ladies. We can potentially swap for a bigger size if the store as stock…

LOL, just realized someone beat me to the thought.

When I told this to my mum, she said the vest would be on special in store tomorrow. Hard to say they will stock the colour I want, when I get a chance to exchange. Guess mummy knows what's best😆

  • Shipping time says 1 - 7 business days.

What shipping times have people gotten in Melbourne?

I'd like to get it before Thursday…

  • It's probably too late now, and so many likes.
…. but I'd strongly suggest you try one of these in shop if you are not aware just how light weight the fabric is.

  • What is the fill weight? (grams of down).
There's no point if so ultralight it has nor warmth.

  • -3

There's a reason why it's so cheap. Much like a fur coat, it's probably best to avoid feather.

    • +3

Not affiliated with UNIQLO but found this response from their UNIQLO Australia Facebook Page that answers your question nicely -

"None of the down for our products is plucked from live animals, UNIQLO strictly forbids this practice from our suppliers. All our suppliers sign our Code of Conduct for Production Partners, which commits them to our ethical standards and requires them not to use live-plucked materials. We conduct thorough investigations before partnering with each supplier and follow up with intermittent inspections. Many thanks, UNIQLO Australia"

It's not independently tested, and Patagonia had the same policies in place and still discovered flagrant disregard of those policies.
(Personally it's beside the point for me as I wouldn't wear feathers from dead geese either).

        • Better to wear feather from geese that are already dead than feathered alive, don't you think?

        • @pingre:
Sure. Probably even better to wear items that aren't made from dead things, don't you think?

        • +2

@BTRaynes: so just throw away the bits we could use but don't need? If an animal is dead we may as well use all of it.

  • Chadstone has various colours for men and women in sizes XS, S and Large when I went 10am - medium pretty much gone.

Good for cheap, but not into Jap fashion! Love my European fashion clothes 😀

    • +7

      "Jap fashion"??

      What does that mean?

I wear clothes I bought from Uniqlo and they are no different to any I have bought at other shops. Don't have a lot of things from there, as it is mostly for younger generation. But I find things there that I like, that fit, and look good.

    • +1

They're not Jap fashion. They are known for selling basics.
