    http://www.nbnco.com.au

enter the address and it will tell you

    • It just seems to show a list of over a hundred service providers.

You enter your address and it tells you if you have NBN or if its available soon.

If its available you can have any nbn retailer supply

Not knowing the address we cant advise on speed, as if nbn isn't available, then its pointless working out the next step, which is to determine which nbn service is available - FTTP FTTN Cable or satellite, which then will determine what speed.

looking at a few addresses in Lawson the message i got was that the NBN isnt yet available, and no scheduled date either

        • thank you

      • yes.. That's correct

    • thanks RockyRaccoon

  • 100mbps is the fastest connection retailed on NBN. FTTP can get it. Cable and FTTN/B customers can get up to it depending on Contention and in the case of FTTN distance and line quality.
If you're getting FTTN, then NOBODY can give you an accurate answer of what your particular line will be capable of delivering until your connection is active.

If you're getting Fixed Wireless, then 50mbps is the current maximum. I imagine this is distance dependent to the tower and contention is definitely an issue.

Satellite, I think 25mbps is the maximum, and again contention is a huge issue.

    • Thank you.. it is helpful.
