Best CR123A Torch under $15 or So

Years back, bought a RC-T6 torch for a hefty sum (when DX were the shit), after charging the batteries for it, it didn't work. Stupid me didn't get around to arranging a DOA claim or anything, and I recently re-found the torch.
Now, I believe the batteries are fine (since the charger shows green when they're charged up), but I can't be sure. Don't have access to a voltmeter to check them, so I'm thinking a decent torch that uses those batteries might fit the bill :) That way I can test the batteries, and I have a use for the batteries if it's proven that they're fine.

So, without going to candlepower (which I should probably have a browse), does anyone have a recommendation? :)

$34 though?! Not quite within budget

      • Yea but for a 16340 torches you are limited in numbers. Solarstorm SC03 maybe that will be cheap but still be over budget. You may want to look at the Klarus Mi7 there is a coupon code for 22 USD but that uses a standard AA or 14500 and also the Jetbeam Jet I MK is about 18 Aussie dollars. That is also a AA and 14500 torch.
14500 torchesare not to main stream.

Even when i bought my Xtar WK21 it cost me about $40. I will see what i can find on sale.

This is the Solarstorm i use to have one but i broke it. They get really really hot. They are good build quality. But no lock out.
