Green Man Gaming Purchase Issue

Hey guys,

Recently purchased a game from Green Man Gaming, thought a got a decent deal.. $45 for Overwatch PC whilst JB has it for $50. Checked my bank account a few days later and was charged $60. Realise then it was in US currency. Not a bargain after all. OzPwn'd :(

My issue is that during the purchase process nowhere it stated that the game will be charged in US currency. If I knew this I wouldnt have made the purchase..(maybe its there selling tactic).

In the end I was not able to get a refund as key is used and I raised the concern with them which they did not care and referred me to their T&C.

    let it be a lesson to you.
    If a website does not have a .com.au it normally is usd pricing.

    Never assume, especially considering gmg isn't an Australian business, mostly likely charged in USD

    If it doesnt say .au or when you check out it doesnt say AUD it is pretty much always USD.

    Honestly just getting back from the US games are more expensive there than here stick to Ozgameshop if you want cheaper deals they are UK based but in my experince 80% of the time give a better deal then local retailers. The other 20% you just going to have to hunt around target, JB etc

    With all that said every now and then steam have a decent deal
