I basically want a new age Diablo 2.. Diablo 3 was a failure in my eyes, although i did get a good amount of hours played with the expansion the lack of PvP hurts my soul.
Is there anything that is like Diablo 2, that has come out recently? Boss killing, trading, PvP etc… Can be PC or ps4

Torchlight 2 has up to 4 player co-op too. Unsure about PvP.
Pillars of eternity
If you want something closer to baldies gate try sword coast legends. A really underrated game imo I never see it wildly talked about.
highly recommend divinity original sin, however, it's turn based combat (ended up very enjoyable). Can play co-op but lacks your pvp.
Dark souls 3/Bloodborne is quite good. Difficult bosses and interesting PVP if you're willing to try something new?
Titan Quest anniversary edition came out in September this year. Just like D2 in terms of gameplay but with a Greek mythology feel. It's available on Steam
Path of Exile or Torchlight
I am quite enjoying Grim Dawn. No PvP but you can play coop and the character customisation is quite deep. Most of the game revolves around exploring, questing and killing monsters. Graphics are quite nice as well.
